What will your contribution go towards? Well, a bunch little things that go into getting this film made. It costs to travel to our shooting destinations and film festivals we will need to enter to promote the film. We need to hire a professional editor to do their magic. We need to purchase promotional materials like wristbands, tee shirts and baseball caps. If people don't know about the film, it won't help these kids. They won't know without promotion. We need money in order to promote and maintain our website. Plus once in a while, while Rachel or I are out working on KINDRED, we need a meal or two.

We are currently applting for grants as well to pay for final editing of the film

Working on this project from day 1 of our original campaign pitch has been the most profound experience of our lives. Most recently, the opportunities that have popped up throw a true urgency in our funding. We have received responses from at least 6 foster/adoption advocacy groups around the country. They can provide vital information about living in the solution. Tying in with them networks more groups together, providing a child that much of a better chance of being permanently placed with a family. There are shoots that can be done in San Francisco, New York, Washington D.C., Oregon, Denver and Reno. No one gets paid or draws a salary for participation.
